Development Proposal - Gosford

I wrote the following development proposal for an assignment in my fourth year of my Bachelor of City Planning (Honours) degree. We were tasked with preparing a portfolio for a new development within the Gosford City Centre based on existing planning controls and controls that we had previously prepared in groups in class. My proposal, which was awarded a high distinction, consisted of a major redevelopment of an existing block of retail shops along Mann Street. The proposal would transform the area into a thriving late-night entertainment district with accompanying residential accommodation.

Although it is unlikely that my vision will ever come to fruition, my report contains several ideas that I strongly believe can revitalise run-down areas such as those prominent in the Gosford City Centre.
